This classic biscuit is sweet, crispy, and flaky with a subtle hint of anise. The olive oil torta, a thin, unleavened biscuit, dates back hundreds of years and was originally designed to offer a convenient snack for travelers in Seville. We find the sweet taste pairs beautifully with our cheeses, in particular it cuts through our Strathdon Blue perfectly.
INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour (GLUTEN), extra virgin olive oil (21%), sugar, aniseed, salt, SESAME seeds and anise essence. May also contain traces of NUTS.
